Introducing Mini CIT Program!

August 1-August 17th

Wednesday-Friday from 9am-3pm (first week only)
Monday-Wednesday from 9am-3pm (2nd & 3rd weeks)

Entering grades 9 & 10

*All CIT candidates must be entering grades 9-10. No exceptions*

Our CIT program emphasizes leadership skills, creativity, work ethics, and team building; giving these young adults an opportunity to learn and perfect counselor skills while acting as a positive role model and having fun!

This program highlights safety, behavior management, organizing program activities, team building and much more. All CIT candidates must be interested in working with children and posses a level of maturity and positive energy. A portion of the day will be separate from the Booth population and will focus on learning new skills. The other half will be a hands on approach working with our younger Booth participants.

If your child is interested in taking part of this great opportunity he/she must:

  • Provide a letter of recommendation

  • Set up an interview

  • Due to the small number of spaces available and the highly competitive nature of this program candidates must submit applications by June 15th

Introductory CIT program is a three week/three day program, cost includes three field trips (North Bowl, Water Wiz and Launch). Fee: $250

All candidates must register for an interview online and then submit all completed paperwork at the Recreation Department mail slot in a clearly labeled envelope. We will be scheduling interviews by early June. Once your child has been accepted into the program we will be accepting the fee for the program.
Successful completion of the program MAY result in an offer to join our Booth Staff in the future but is not guaranteed.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
